Cheese Ball Recipe

This is a yummy, simple cheese ball recipe that has a hint of ranch and comes together very quickly.

It’s perfect for social gatherings, family get-togethers, or just snacking at home. Serve it in a ball form, or in a bowl as a dip. Try to set it out about 15 minutes before serving to give it a little time to soften up. Otherwise, the crackers will just break, and that’s maddening.

Watch the video below or the recipe is down below that. Enjoy!

Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 pkg. (or 2 Tb.) ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, milk, and ranch dressing mix until combined.

  2. Beat in the softened cream cheese until smooth and no lumps remain.

  3. Slowly stir in the cheddar cheese until fully incorporated.

  4. Serve in ball form or as a dip.  Serve with your favorite cracker and enjoy!  Refrigerate any leftovers.

Recipe Notes

  • Use real mayonnaise, not Miracle Whip.
  • Set out your cream cheese 30-45 minutes before preparing to let it soften.
  • Before serving, set cheese ball out of fridge about 15 minutes before to give it time to soften so the crackers won’t break.
